Description

It snowed all morning in the Chisos Mountains. Then the storm moved Westward out over the desert in the late afternoon as rain. By sunset, it was raining in Terlingua and all the way from the Christmas Mountains to down in Mexico. I once asked a resident what there was to do in Terlingua when it rained. "Watch the rain in the desert," she replied. Photographs by Dennis Ciscel, presented with his cooperation and permission.
