Description
This Danish Neo-classical masterpiece by Berthel Thorvaldsen depicts a scene of the cup-bearer of God watering his master. It was created in 1817 and is now in the Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen. The artist died in 1844 in Copenhagen at the age of seventy-five years.
