Artist's Description
This is a reproduction of “A Work in Progress”, or “Un Travailen Cours by Owe Zerge of 1931. This Swedish artist was thirty-seven years old when this was painted and he died in 1983. He was famous for his accurate portraits and often depicted young men and boys. He was a poor student in school except in music and drawing. He studied at art school in Althin and at the Academy of Stockholm , then travel to France and Italy to continue his studies . He has received many orders for portraits and could live as good at this job that he did, but the gallery owners and therefore have had only exhibits a few times. One of the exhibits that touched him was the Anniversary Exhibition, the museum association in his childhood town of Kristianstad, organized on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

About Owe Zerge
Troy Caperton was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1949. Raised in South Louisiana from 1953, he graduated from Baylor University in 1976 and pursued a Masters in History at the University of Louisiana until 1988 when he moved to Austin, Texas. For over ten years Caperton has been selling his original art and reproductions of original work and the masters through various portals on the Internet. One of his works won a Jurors Prize at Austins Art Erotica in 2010. He has always been employed in helping positions and continues to produce works for the enjoyment of the public.
