Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

This is a reproduction of Anthony van Dyck's "Tribute Money" of about 1625. This work is the tribute of the master of Antwerp to the Italian tradition. The scene depicted is from Matthew's Gospel in which Jesus tells Peter to go to the sea and obtain tribute money from the mouth of a fish. The story was famously rendered as a fresco in about 1425 by Masaccio in Florence. Titian also produced a masterpiece in about 1564 Venice. Antonis van Dijck was born in 1599 Antwerp and was apprenticed to a painter after his mother's death when he was ten years old. He was precocious and within six years he had his own workshop and apprentice. By age nineteen he was accepted as a full member of the Guild of St. Luke, an honor which Rubens did not attain until he was 28 years old. He worked with Rubens but as the younger Rubens' reputation eclipsed his own, Van Dyck accepted the earl of Arundel's invitation to come to London in 1620. Troy Caperton was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1949. Raised in South Louisiana from 1953, he graduated from Baylor University in 1976 and pursued a Masters in History at the University of Louisiana until 1988 when he moved to Austin, Texas. For over ten years Caperton has been selling his original art and reproductions of original work and the masters through various portals on the Internet. One of his works won a Juror’s Prize at Austin’s Art Erotica in 2010. He has always been employed in helping positions and continues to produce works for the enjoyment of the public.
