Self Portait at age Twenty-six Youth T-Shirt

This is a reproduction of “Self Portrait at age Twenty-six” by Albrecht Durer of 1498. The great German artist and engraver produced this at the age of twenty-eight having been born in Nuremberg. He gained much fame for his woodcuts prints and was in communication with the great contemporary artists in Italy. He was also known for his watercolor landscapes and introduced much of Italian thinking, philosophy and art to Northern Europe from the Italian Renaissance. He died in 1528 in the city of his birth. The original of this masterpiece is an oil on panel that measures 52 by 41 centimeters. It is the Museo del Prado in Madrid.
