Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This is a print reproduction of the engraving "Inverlochy Castle" of 1857 by Horatio McCulloch. This Scots landscape painter who began professional life as a painter of snuffbox lids and color artist of illustrations. He began to exhibit in the Royal Scottish Academy in 1830 when twenty-four years old. By 1838 his reputation was made and he became a full member of the Scottish Academy. He only exhibited once in England in 1843 but maintained his showings in Scotland where he died on June 24, 1867 in Edinburgh. The castle was built in the 13th century by John, the Black Comyn. This wonderful example of McCulloch's work is in the National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh.

Raised in South Louisiana from 1953, he graduated from Baylor University in 1976 and pursued a Masters in History at the University of Louisiana until 1988 when he moved to Austin, Texas. For over ten years Caperton has been selling his original art and reproductions of original work and the masters through various portals on the Internet. One of his works won a Juror’s Prize at Austin’s Art Erotica in 2010. He has always been employed in helping positions and continues to produce works for the enjoyment of the public.
