Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This a reproduction of Witold Pruszkowski's "Spadająca Gwiazda", or Falling Star, of 1884. Witold Pruszkowski was born in 1846 and spent his youth in Odessa and Kiev. He studied under Tadeusz Gorecki in Paris and moved to Munich and Krakow and studied under Jan Matejko in the latter city. He began as a portrait painter and in 1884 moved to a small village outside of Krakow where his subject matter became legends, fables and folk-tales. He painted Falling Star during this period and he died in 1896. About Witold Pruszkowski

Witold Pruszkowski

Troy Caperton was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1949. Raised in South Louisiana from 1953, he graduated from Baylor University in 1976 and pursued a Masters in History at the University of Louisiana until 1988 when he moved to Austin, Texas. For over ten years Caperton has been selling his original art and reproductions of original work and the masters through various portals on the Internet. One of his works won a Jurors Prize at Austins Art Erotica in 2010. He has always been employed in helping positions and continues to produce works for the enjoyment of the public.
