Description
This is a re-constructionist image of Artemis, the virgin huntress among the Olympians, who was the twin sister of Apollo. She is here depicted listening the the report of a woodland bird, perhaps telling her of a defilement of the sanctuary of the wild creatures of the woods of whom she was the protectress.

Thanks Troy for the kind response! Good luck to you too with a successful and happy life! :) If you are on Facebook and want to see the progress of this fantastic young artist, check out Artemis Tattoo Studio, Lancaster, NY. I invite you to follow these two young aspiring artists! My daughter's name is Esther and her partner is Eyrica. They are both experts in their field. It's Been a long road for them, but their dream is finally coming true at last! It would be so awesome if they could get a word of encouragement from an artist that has been around the block a couple times and I'm sure they would very much appreciate it! Thank you so much! Lucy

Very happy that I can add to the joy of her opening up a new business. Much success to her and thank you so much for being such a supportive and giving mother.

Thanks for the info, Troy. I knew it had to be something like that. Anyways, my daughter is opening her own tattoo studio called Artemis, so I bought this beautiful print for her to display. I know she's going to love it! Thank you!

The second letter is the Greek "rho" which looks like the Latin "P". It has the "r" sound.

Bought a repo of "Artemis", beautiful but why is it spelled Apt instead of Art? Thanks
