Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

This is a reproduction of Männliche Porträtstudie (Das böse Gewissen), or A Bad Conscience (Male Portrait Study) by Franz von Stuck. It measures 50 by 46.5 centimeters and is now in the Museum Weisbaden. Franz von Stuck was the foremost of the Symbolist artist in Munich of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He co-founded the Munich Secession which formed a long-lasting rebellion on the part of young artists from the Academic styles of the older generation. He gained great acclaim and in 1905 was raised to the Bavarian aristocracy by King Otto. He died in 1928 mourned as the “last prince of art of Munich’s great days”.
