Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

This is a reproduction of Manuel Ignacio Vazquez’masterpiece, “Male Nude” of 1823. It measures 700 by 560 millimeters and is in the Museo Nacional de Arte in Mexico City. Manuel Ignacio Vázquez, born in Tlacolula, Oaxaca, was a student of Rafael Ximeno y Planes in the San Carlos Academy and gave painting classes in the same institution. Traveling to Rome on a scholarship in order to complete his studies, he entered the Academy of Saint Luke there, and was active as a painter between 1806 and 1835. The XlXth-century academic art considered the nude to be a great opportunity to depict the human body in an idealized way, in accordance with the stylistic values of the French-influenced Neoclassicism that then prevailed. The nude full-figure and half-figure exercises carried out by the students prepared them to participate in the so-called Torso Competition, which had been introduced by the academies so that students could demonstrate both their artistic abilities and their knowledge...
